“ Came here for my boyfriends birthday and it was really good. The food was amazing. The server seemed a little bit off but she may have just been having a day. But the ambience was great, food was great. A bit pricey for people on a tighter budget but you're paying for quality. ”

The atmosphere was great. We tried many of the different foods and then shared dessert and it was absolutely perfect I had the braised bison short rib and keep remembering how good it taste it. A huge thank you to Hayley, who helped with our event planning—she was so helpful and made everything seamless. On the day of the wedding, Antoine and Michael, the two managers on site, were also fantastic. They, along with all the staff, made sure everything ran smoothly and took great care of us and our guests. The Bison truly went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable. “ This is THE best meal we’ve had in Banff! (We’ve tried farm and fire, fat ox, brazen etc..) We tried the spring set menu and it was 39 for 3 course menu (generous portions!). The highlight of our meal is probably Steven - our server. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our food and gave the best recommendations. He recommended a great local IPA and offered a taster to make sure it’s something we like. We had the cucumber salad, Denver steak, cod, bison tartare, chocolate budino and broccoli. Everything was very enjoyable but my favourites were the broccoli! A MUST visit in Banff. ”

“ We spent over a week in Canada and this was the best meal we had. For starters we had the shrimp lettuce cups, roasted cauliflower, and escargot. All of them were amazing! For mains we had the duck and bison short rib which also blew us away. If I were to nitpick, the cocktails comparatively weren’t as good as the food, but we loved the food so much it didn’t really matter. ”
“ Great restaurant. Recommend making reservation unless you are ok with bar counter seats. We enjoyed some unique dishes and local beer (ipa) & cider (raspberry hint) We had the bison tartare which was served with sour dough. Light flavours, not gamy flavour as i expected. Worth a try! Our favourvite main was the Bison short ribs served with chives mash. Well cooked, soft tender, still moist but with a slight char on the outside. We also enjoyed Artic char which was pan fried served with beans and broth. Light flavoured, tasty The duck breast was well cooked and served with crispy rice and had a very light Asian flavour. Delicious ”
